Hebrews 11:32-40;12:4 narrates the list of many who out of faith suffered excruciating pains and death for the sake of Christ, but the promises were not fulfilled in their time and before their eyes, and in 12:4, it asks our generation to whom all has been fulfilled for: “in your struggles against sin, have you reached the point of shedding your blood?” The answer is a big NO! Yet we lack faith, and our hearts are far away from God.
