Jesus invites us today to be perfect just as our Heavenly Father is perfect; to love our friends and enemies, and also pray for them. This call to perfection is the call of Christianity. Humanly speaking, it is not easy, if not impossible, but with God’s grace, it is. Let us pray today for God’s grace to enable us to always discern our actions and their concordance with the will of God, as well as for a genuine love for God and humanity.
