From the gospel, one could quickly ask: but why were they given different talents and opportunities? Remember, it was given to them, each according to his ability. Which means their was already an effort from the beginning, and that is what God looks at most.
We could also see it from the point of view of being different; focus on yourself and build yourself. Don’t look into others’ affairs, St. Paul warns us. Unequal opportunities, unequal expectations!
