Thomas did not doubt up to the point of leaving the apostolic college. Instead, he sought clarification within. He opened up in the Church the dimensions of the teachings and expansions of the faith, Catechesis.
Our faith in the risen Lord and the whole account of the resurrection is an important aspect of Christianity, and so Thomas did not take it for granted.
Unfortunately, today, we have several nominal Christians who neither understand nor are interested in the faith.
Despite the communitarian turn in our faith and worship, do not forget to approach God through personal acknowledgement and conviction in the total disposition Thomas availed us today ” My Lord and My God.”
