Theme: The Kerygmatic Series!
Within this time, we see the first encounters and evangelization of the Apostles. These first preaching and conversions are called “Kerygma”: the first preaching which will later form a “didache”: the teaching of the twelve. One spectacular thing we must notice here is that God is a God of all, irrespective of class, race, position, etc. In the Gospel, he didn’t first come to the Apostles, but to Mary Magdalena and the two on the road to Emmaus, and on account of this, the Apostles refused to believe, for which Jesus rebuked them later. In the first reading, the Pharisees and scribes were amazed at the boldness of the Apostles, for even without having received any education, they could speak with reason and authority. Although they could not deny the miracle and strong words coming from the Apostles, they still did not believe because of their selfish interests.
Child of God, there is no one outside of God’s grace. The manifestation of God’s grace can begin in your life at any time. You just need to believe, work hard, and keep praying for the light of Christ.
