Theme: The Plot!
Dearest friends, with the celebration of the Palm Sunday yesterday and beginning of the Holy Week, we see in the coming liturgies of the week a strong materialising PLOT from those to whom the work of salvation will be set in place through them; Judas and the Jews…
However, today, we see some sort of shift to Lazarus, whom Jesus had raised from the dead and because of whom many Jews believed and were coming to see. Raged by this bitterness and jealousy, the Jews planned to kill Lazarus again, a bait and target unto Jesus to whom the PLOT is focused on.
It is this concern that Isaiah raised in the first reading.
Becareful with those around you. Sometimes, the good you do that should give joy may not be appreciated and may be the very reason someone could hate you and plot evil against you. May God fight our unseen battles and never allow the good we do destroy us.
