Know this Child of God, whatever we are, do, and are able to achieve, was, is, and will be because God was and is. He has created us and enabled us with his word and so we do not only live and exist for ourselves, but in him and for him who has made the wonder of our being; in whom we live and move and have our being. Let us always remember this in humility and not allow our gifts and the praises of men take us out of the right track, for a wise man is one who knows how to handle the praises and the criticisms of men.
